Dear World, Lieve Allemaal

Today is the start of my brand new blog: CarinaStyle012. I’m Dutch girl who loves fashion, make-up, good books, movies and philosophy. I love to act, sing, dance and travel.

Vandaag begin ik met mijn nieuwe blog: CarinaStyle012. Mijn naam is Carina en ik hou van mode, make-up, goede boeken, films, filosofie, acteren, zingen, dansen en reizen. 

As I said, I’m from the Netherlands, so I doubted a long time wether I would write my posts in Dutch or English.  I chose both, because I'm a terrible decider and because the world is bigger than just my own country.

Ik ben natuurlijk Nederlands, maar ik was lang aan het twijfelen of ik in het Nederlands of Engels zou schrijven. Ik heb beide talen gekozen, omdat ik slecht ben in kiezen haha en omdat de wereld gewoon groter is dan alleen Nederland. 

This blog is a blog about Style, but not just style in the sense of fashion. Style is much, much more than that. It’s about finding yourself. Your way of living. Finding the things on this big old planet that you love, that are worth living for. So I will not only post about fashion and make-up, but also about my life. About the journeys I make and about the things I see. The music and plays I love. The people, quotes, books, writers that inspire me, and hopefully you.

Deze blog gaat over stijl. Maar niet alleen kledingstijl. Het is veel, veel meer dan dat. Het gaat erom dat je kan ontdekken wie je bent. Hoe je wil zijn. Het vinden van de dingen die jij geweldig vindt op deze grote oude planeet, de dingen waarvoor jij wil leven. Ik ga dus niet alleen posten over kleding en make-up, maar ook over mijn leven. De reizen die ik maak, de dingen die ik zie. De kunst waar ik van hou. De mensen, quotes, boeken, schrijvers die mij inspireren. En hopelijk jou.

I also have a YouTube channel: carinastyle012. Here I make videos, but most of them are in Dutch so far. Maybe I will subtitle them English…
